  • 💡 Team Size: 4–5 adults per group (ages 12+ recommended)

  • 🕰️ Time-slotted entry to ensure flow and immersion

  • 🎫 Ticket includes a custom Quest Passport, access to all  5+ puzzle locations, a  Bag of Bag, and entry to the grand finale at Ember Rest ​​

🧙‍♂️ Volunteer NPCs Wanted!

Ever dreamed of being a mysterious Seer? A candy-flinging Trickster? A flamboyant bard or a cranky village alchemist?

We need costumed volunteers to serve as roaming NPCs!
Get into character, interact with players, and help keep the magic alive.

  • 🎭 Dress in Ren Faire, witchy, fantastical, or chaotic goblin-chic

  • 📜 Role prompts and light scripts provided—or bring your own flavor!

  • 🍬 Some characters will hand out candy, tokens, or spell coupons

  • 🤝 Great for cosplayers, actors, storytellers, and chaotic extroverts

  • Work with our in house DMs Two Weeks Prior to The Event- Must have availability to train

We’re building a mini magical marketplace as part of the experience—think Ren Faire meets artisan alley!

Looking for:

  • 🔮 Fantasy, mystical, or nerdy crafts

  • 🧼 Potions (soap, candles, bath goods)

  • 🧵 Jewelry, accessories, costumes

  • 📚 Books, art, tarot, handmade goods

This year, Downtown D&D grows wiser — and stronger together. Adventurers will complete five main quest stops, each one shaping the fate of the realm (there are plenty of addional stops you can join in if your super fast). But the streets hold more than just required trials. Along the way, heroes may encounter bonus tasks, roaming challenges, marketplace curiosities, tavern trials, and unexpected moments of magic waiting to be discovered. Between quests, the Cauldron & Cloak Marketplace awakens in full festival splendor — artisans, relics, and revelry spilling onto Main Street like a page from a living storybook. And here is the secret: this quest is a collective battle. Every group’s victories and setbacks feed into a shared pool of strength, chipping away at the Ashen Cloak’s power. No single party decides the outcome — the city does. Less rushing. More wandering. More wonder. At 3:00 PM, the Conclave ignites — and the flame rises as one.

Part of Downtown D&D 2026: The Gathering Flame – The Conclave Ignites

On the day the Conclave gathers, Main Street transforms into a living fantasy marketplace.

The Cauldron & Cloak Marketplace will run 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, right in the heart of downtown Martinez. While Downtown D&D is a paid, immersive city-wide adventure with 350+ participants, the marketplace itself will be completely open to the public — inviting shoppers, families, and festival-goers to step into the magic.

We’re seeking vendors offering:

  • Artisan crafts & handmade wares

  • Vintage curiosities

  • Apothecary, herbal, or mystical-themed items

  • Art, jewelry, candles, textiles, and unique finds

 

Booth Fee: $99

Vendor Setup: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
